Socceroo and former Adelaide and Brisbane Roar (World Greatest club TM) central defender Sasa Ognenovski has won the AFC's player of the year gong for 2010.
Sasa is currently captain of the Moonie owned Seongnam who this year won the Asian Champions League and will compete in the Club World Cup. So far so goof in that regard as Sasa scored as Seongnam beat UAE's representative 4-1.
Winning AFC player of the year, gaining his first Socceroos senior cap against Egypt and captaining Seongnam as they become the champions of Asia it's been a fantastic year for Sasa.
Best not talk about that game against Egypt too much though (the score ended 3-0 in favor of Egypt).
